Plate filter

Plate filtration is a filtration technology that uses filtering sheets capable of trapping particles measuring from 0.2 to 20 μm (micron). The denser the filter sheet, the cleaner and more stable the filtered product will be, because the microorganisms that cause the product to deteriorate, are eliminated with this type of filtration. In the extra virgin olive oil industry, sheet filtration is used, above all, to filter green oil, the highest quality of oil obtained from olives.
