Filter press

Filtration with filter presses is used in the filtration of very cloudy liquids, such as must or clarification residue. This technology uses filtering cloths mounted on plates in which the solid part separated by the cloth is accumulated. Depending on the volume to filter, there are presses measuring 40x40 cm, 50x50, 63x63, 80x80, etc. and the number of plates determines the machine’s filtering capacity.
