Plate filter

Plate filtration is a method that uses filtering sheets capable of trapping particles measuring from 0.2 to 20 μm (micron). The denser the filtering sheet the more stable the product because the microorganisms that cause the product to deteriorate, are eliminated with this type of filtration. In the beverage industry, sheet filtration is used to filter the product before bottling. The filtering layers cannot be recycled.
